Accelerated Hands-On CNA Exam Prep in Just 3 Days
One Week CNA Training in Jacksonville offers one of the fastest and most focused paths to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida. Designed as an exam prep course rather than a traditional CNA program, this intensive training experience teaches students everything they need to pass the Florida Nurse Aide Exam—both written and clinical portions—in just three days. The course is hands-on from start to finish and comes with a strong support structure, making it especially appealing to students who are eager to start their healthcare careers as quickly as possible.
Course Format and Class Schedule
The training runs for three days and is fully in-person, with a strict focus on practical skills and exam preparation. While specific start times may vary, the program maintains a fast-paced schedule with limited downtime, allowing students to complete their training within a single week. The environment is designed for adult learners who are ready to dive in and absorb information quickly.
Each session includes practice for all 21 clinical skills tested on the Florida CNA exam, including ambulation, catheter care, feeding, vital signs, perineal care, and range of motion techniques. Students also receive a take-home study guide and access to practice tests with over 100 questions to reinforce learning outside the classroom.
Admissions and Eligibility Requirements
This program is open to anyone aged 18 or older (or 17 with parental permission). No high school diploma or GED is required, and no previous medical training or healthcare experience is needed. For students who may have language barriers or learning disabilities, private one-on-one training is available for an additional cost.
A minimum $100 deposit is required to reserve a seat, and the remaining $125 must be paid before the first day of class. The course must be paid in full before starting, but flexible payment plans are available. Students have up to 90 days to complete their payment as long as their class is fully paid before the start date.
What the Program Covers
The $225 program fee includes:
- Three days of hands-on CNA skills training
- Exam prep study guide with all skills explained step-by-step
- Practice tests with over 100 questions
- Certificate of completion (Note: this is not a CNA license)
- Step-by-step guidance on the CNA exam application process with Prometric
The school guarantees that students who complete the course will pass the state exam—or they can take a free refresher course.
Fingerprinting and Background Check Services
Students must undergo a Level 2 background check and fingerprinting as required by the Florida Department of Health. One Week CNA Training offers this service on-site for $90. Students can complete this step before, during, or after the training, but it must be done before taking the CNA exam.
Exam Fees and Testing Process
Testing fees are not included in the $225 course price. Students will need to pay $155 to Prometric for the combined Florida CNA exam. One Week CNA Training is also an in-facility testing center, allowing students to take their exam at the same location where they trained. This helps reduce exam-day anxiety and simplifies logistics. Once approved by Prometric, students typically receive their test date within 30 to 90 days.
Instructors and Student Support
Classes are taught by experienced RNs, LPNs, or CNAs who specialize in teaching practical, test-focused skills. The instructors are well-versed in the requirements of the Florida Nurse Aide Exam and work to ensure that every student is confident in both their hands-on and written testing abilities. Students are guided through every step of the certification process, including help with Prometric application submission.
What to Expect After the Program
Students will leave the course with a certificate of completion and the knowledge and skills required to pass the Florida CNA exam. While One Week CNA Training does not offer formal job placement services, graduates will be eligible to work as CNAs in a variety of healthcare settings after passing both portions of the state exam. The CNA credential can also be transferred to other states via reciprocity, provided the applicant meets the background check and licensing requirements of the new state.
Accreditation and Special Notes
This course is not a 120-hour state-approved program and is instead designed for students who wish to challenge the Florida CNA exam through the test-out option. If a student fails the exam three times, they are no longer eligible for this type of prep course and must attend a full-length approved program.
